🌟 Meet Duchess!

Duchess is ready to reclaim her throne—and this sweet girl is hoping her next kingdom comes with plenty of laps, cuddles, and undivided attention.

Previously known as Bubbles, Duchess originally came from FOHA before spending time in a home. Now she’s back with us through no fault of her own after changes in her family’s life, and we’re getting to know this lovely girl all over again. Her former family described her as friendly, affectionate, and a true lap cat whose very best quality is her love of cuddling and being the center of attention.

Duchess may take a little time to feel comfortable when life gets busy. She has been known to hide when visitors arrive and can be shy or fearful in unfamiliar situations, but once she knows she’s safe, her affectionate side shines. She enjoys being picked up and is happiest when she can settle into a lap and soak up all the love her person has to offer.

Duchess previously shared her home with other cats and dogs, but she generally preferred to avoid them and was described as fearful around the other animals. Because of this, she may be happiest as the queen of her own castle, where she can relax and enjoy her people without having to compete for attention. If another pet is in the home, a very thoughtful, gradual introduction would be important.

🏡 What I’m Looking For:

I’d love a peaceful, predictable home where I can settle in at my own pace and build a close relationship with my people. I’m a loving lap cat at heart, and once I’m comfortable, I would be delighted to receive all the cuddles and attention befitting a Duchess.

Spay/neuter, vaccines (rabies and FVRCP/distemper), diagnostic testing (including FIV/FeLV), any additional medical care recommended by our vet, 1 bag starter food, 1 month flea/tick prevention, and 1-month access to Petcademy for post-adoption support.
