Sprout

Hi there, I’m Sprout, a younger pup, with an amazing mom named Bean.  I’m very bonded with her, and I don’t like to be away from her for too long. We are basically just a couple of shy dogs trying to make our way in this big, sometimes scary, world.  Our dream is to find a kind and patient family to help us be all we can be!

I’m quite a handsome boy, or so I’ve been told. One of my best features is my adorable ears – they’re quite the conversation starter! I am learning to explore on my own and focus on other interesting things for a few minutes at a time.

Because I am a bit timid and cautious, I get worried when other dogs look at my mom, but I’m not as bothered when people look at her. Once I feel comfortable, I do love being petted though, so if you see me around, please approach me gently to say hi and give me some love!

When I am out and about with my mom, I tend to check our surroundings vigilantly to be sure we are safe.  I need some time to build up my confidence, but with patience and love from our new family, I know I will get there.
