2 – Spirit

Hi, my name is Spirit! I’m a handsome dog with piercing blue eyes that are absolutely hypnotizing. I’m a loving, sweet, and friendly pup who adores spending time with people. I’m also quite playful and energetic, and love nothing more than running around in the yard, doing zoomies, and playing ball.

I know the sit command and am eager to learn more especially when there are yummy treats involved. Did I mention that I take treats gently so you don’t have to worry about me snapping them out of your hand?  

I do tend to pull a bit on the leash, but that’s just because I’m so excited to be out and about.  Some say I may make a great running partner, if that’s your thing!  

While I do love people, I can be a bit selective when it comes to other dogs. I may do well in a home as the only dog, where I can have all the attention to myself.  When I am out on walks, I am learning to direct my attention to my handler when encountering other dogs rather than barking or lunging.  

I am looking for a family that is willing and able to continue consistent, patient training to help me be the best dog I can be!

I’m easy to get in and out of the car and absolutely adore car rides – it’s always so exciting to see where we’re headed next!
