Sam

Hi there!  My name is Sam, and I am a very optimistic and happy dog despite having a very bad experience recently.  I am still trying to figure out why my last owner left me tied up in the backyard and moved away.  I was there for a week without shelter and other basic necessities – a very scary situation to find myself in.   To make a long story short, I am safe and happy to be home with my friends at FOHA now until I am home with my new family!  As I said, I am a very optimistic guy and have put all that bad stuff behind me!

I joined the doggie social circle here recently, attending my first Doggie Social!  They say I am amazing with other dogs but why wouldn’t I be?  All the dogs I met were great and I liked them all!  What’s not to like I wonder?   In the play yard, I also did very well with my new doggie friends and had no problem with correction when I slipped up a few times with my manners.

Being around people here is the best.  They have lots of great treats which I always take gently when offered!
