Well hi there! I’m sweet Mia.
I’m a little shy when I’m meeting new people but I’m gaining more confidence each day. I’m lucky to have staff and volunteers at FOHA to help me come out of my shell.
I walk nicely while exploring the trails. And when we stop for a break, I’ll lean into you for love and scratches.
I can’t wait to find my forever family. Submit an application and we can set up a time to get to know each other. See you soon!!
From FOHA Executive Director (10/11/21)
I have had the pleasure this last week to share an office with Mia. She got pneumonia a week ago and needed some extra care and love. Here is what I have learned about her –
1- not a single accident so she is housebroken
2- nothing has been destroyed or chewed so she does well when left alone
3- she learned sit and down in about a day. Very treat motivated and loves to learn.
4- she is extra shy around men, but is good with women
5- she settles down very quickly and curls up next to me when working so she is a great office mate
6- she walks gentle on leash
7- she is curious about wildlife, but doesn’t pull too hard.
8- she met a cat and was more afraid than anything
