McCoy

Ever hear the expression, “The Real McCoy?”  It means the real thing.  Not an imitation.  That’s me, I’m The Real McCoy!

I’m as cute as I look.  No fillers or filters here!  I was living with a family but got a little rash so they gave me up.  The folks here are treating me and I’m almost, 100% rash-free!

Because my family gave me up, I’m frightened to trust again and will require someone or a family who has patience.  Staff says I’m much more relaxed since I came and they can’t wait to see more of my personality appear once that rash disappears.  (I don’t know what the fuss was about, you can’t even see it now!)

You can understand can’t you, why I’m a little aloof?   I also have a reputation to live up to.  The McCoys were die hard cowboys back when the American West was wild.  In fact, there was this famous feud between the McCoys and another family, The Hatfields, that went on for years.  The McCoys eventually won the feud.

So I’m a survivor in many ways.  If you give me a chance I promise you’ll be getting the real thing; a beautiful, survivor dog who’ll be forever grateful that you gave him a loving home.
