“There’s No Place Like Home, There’s No Place Like Home.”

Those are the magical words I say each day while tapping my heels together like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz.  Dorothy desperately wanted to get home to Kansas.  I desperately want to find my forever home!

I’m a sweet little munchkin who has large expressive eyes.  My foster mom says I communicate a thousand emotions through my beautiful dark eyes.  Mostly, I’m a calm presence.  I’ve come a long way since first arriving at the shelter.  I no longer cower in my kennel  like Dorothy’s trembling lion friend.  Instead, I look at each passerby hoping they’ll know the way to my forever home.

I learned a happy dance in my short term foster home!  I tap my feetsies on the floor when my breakfast and dinner are being prepared.  You can see it in the video below.  I think it comes from clicking my heels when practicing my daily,“There’s No Place Like Home,” mantra.

Foster mom says I am wonderful on walks.  I mind my manners with other dogs.  I do get a bit overwhelmed by new faces and fast bicycles but who wouldn’t?   She got a lot of compliments on how calm I was.  I prefer a quiet home to match my personality.  I’m also fully potty trained and am proud of it!

If you let me into your heart and home, I promise to be your best buddy for life.  Meanwhile, I’ll be looking out for rainbows and tapping my heels together hoping you’ll follow the yellow brick road to my kennel!
