Hi there! I’m Josie, and let me tell you, I’m a sweet, sassy bundle of love who’s ready to find my forever home. I’m currently hanging out in foster care, and I absolutely adore being around my people! I’d thrive in a home where someone is around often, and I wouldn’t mind snuggling up with you at night for some cozy doggy cuddles.

I can handle being left alone for a little while, but I do prefer it if you’re not gone for too long. I might cry for a bit when you leave, but don’t worry—I settle down and, lucky for you, I’m not destructive when waiting for you to come back. As far as housebreaking goes, I’m mostly there! If you take me out every 2-3 hours, I won’t have an accident. And if I’m left alone for a bit, I usually do just fine—though sometimes I get a little too excited when you come back, and, well, a tiny tinkle happens.

I co-exist with other dogs, but I’m not a fan of overly energetic playmates—probably because I’m on the petite side! I’d prefer to be your only dog or to live with another calm canine. Cats? Well, I like them too, as long as they’re on the calmer side. I did try to play chase with a cat once, and that didn’t go over so well—got a little swat on the nose, but hey, I learned my lesson!

Now, here’s the cool part—I get to come to work at FOHA with my foster mom! That means you can meet me on Fridays and Saturdays during visitor hours from 12pm-5pm. You can even just walk right in and say you’re here to meet me!
