Hope

Hi, I’m Hope! I’m still learning that the world isn’t such a scary place, but every day, I’m growing braver. My foster family says I’m the sweetest girl, and I think they might be right! I seem to be fully crate and house-trained, and I sleep through the night like a pro. So far, I haven’t barked at all—just quietly taking everything in.

I still find comfort in my crate when I’m inside, but I’m starting to venture out more, especially when I know there are ear scratches waiting for me! I’m also learning that hot dogs are pretty amazing, and they’re helping me feel a little more confident each day.

Outside, though? That’s where my playful side really shines! I’ve discovered how fun it is to run around the yard, sniff all the things, and even chase a frisbee. Walks are pretty good but I do get a little excited and pull sometimes, but I’m easy to redirect. I love walking with a neighbor dog, and while I’m very interested in other dogs, I’m always polite and friendly.

I think I’d do really well in a home with a confident dog who can show me the ropes and help me feel even safer. I just need a little time, love, and patience, and I know I’ll blossom into the amazing dog I’m meant to be. Could you be the one to help me find my courage? 💛
