Hi, I’m Drake! I came to FOHA from a shelter in southern Virginia, and boy, has my life changed! A very nice foster family is taking care of me, and I’m getting to do a lot more of the things I love: walk and explore the woods, play with toys, snuggle on the couch, and just be a carefree dog!
I’ve got a lot of puppy energy and will need some training, but I do know a few basic commands. And although I’m not completely house trained, I’ve hardly had any accidents while with my foster family! Because of my energy level and how much I love to run and play, I’m looking for a house with a fenced yard; probably a high fence…you should see me jump!
I love people! I like kids, but I think my energy is too much for younger kids. I have played nicely with other dogs, but I still need a lot of socialization and help with my manners. I’m sorry to say, I don’t do well with cats. No one’s perfect…but my foster family says I’m pretty wonderful!
