Hi! I’m Chrissy!
Janet and I are two of the original Three’s Company Dogs – Ralph, Chrissy, and Janet (Ralph has gone to his forever home). We were found as strays and have made our way to FOHA. We are a bonded pair right now and love to play with each other. We are unsure of new people and tend to keep our distance at first. We have no clue what those leashes are for, but the staff and volunteers are working very hard with us to teach us that they are a good thing.
Here are a few things you need to know about us –
1.) We do really like each other, but FOHA staff feels that we can be adopted separately as long as we are adopted to a home with other dogs.
2.) If you want to adopt both of us together that is possible.
3.) Kids may be too much for us right now as we learn how to navigate this big world.
4.) We will need quite a bit of training and help to build our confidence, learn how to walk on leash, and learn how to play and love people.
5.) Right now we are very wary of new people and are not snuggle dogs or even really like to be petted. This may or may not ever change.
6.) If you want to come meet us it will take a few introductions for us to get comfortable with you. You may just want to come the first time and sit outside of our dog run to meet us and we can start to get to know you.
We want to learn to trust, but just aren’t there yet. If one, two or all three of us sound like a good fit for your family, please submit an adoption application and FOHA volunteers will set up a time for you to meet us.
Thank you! Chrissy and Janet
