Chick

Hi my name is Chick!  I am new here at FOHA, but the reviews are coming in and everyone agrees I am a super sweet and an exceptionally good-looking girl.

My friends here report that I mostly walk easily on the leash – never tugging – and checking in with my walker periodically for direction.  When I get very excited to be out and about with my other doggie friends – like at Doggie Social here at the shelter  – I can be a bit strong on the leash but then no one is perfect!   Some additional training with my new family is always a good idea, and I am super treat motivated which never hurts!

On a recent trip to the Super Pet Expo, I was cool as a cucumber for a good long time despite all the noise, people and different breeds and sizes of dogs I encountered.  As you might expect, I carried out my instinctual duties of sniffing and checking everything out and stayed close to my human friend as well.  Paws down though, the car ride over was the best part of the day for me and sniffing all that fresh air rushing at me through the window!

Indications are that I enjoy some lap time with my people so if you are looking for a pup to share the love, and possibly your couch, then put in a no-obligation application and come out and meet me.
