Calypso

Hi there, I’m Calypso!

I showed up as a stray in southern VA, covered in fleas and carrying a belly full of babies. I took great care of them, and now that they’ve all found their homes, I’m hoping it’s my turn! Luckily FOHA pulled me from a shelter in need and I’m ready for the next chapter of my story!

I’m a friendly, easygoing girl who loves to play—especially with squeaky toys! I’ll happily give them up, with or without a treat. Zoomies? Oh yeah, I love those too! I do great with other dogs, have met both kids and adults without any issues, and I’m easy to handle on leash.

I know my name and am super sweet, but I can be a little shy at first—just let me set the pace, and I’ll be your best friend in no time. I get excited for treats (who wouldn’t?), so I’m still working on my sit. But the good news? I’m not picky about food or treats, so training me will be a breeze!
