Meet Brownie
Hi I’m Brownie.
I’m a very submissive guy when I’m around people. But I sure do love receiving love and affection from people. I prefer a calm and quiet voice when people talk to me, and can get a little nervous with loud voices.
I do like to play and have enjoyed a few romps around the play yard here at FOHA. Although, I may like my toys too much and want them all to myself. I like to keep my toys close to me, but I’m ok if they’re taken from me when I’m doing other things.
Although I’m a little shy, I LOVE to jump and climb. I’ll need a careful eye on me if I’m in the yard playing. My goal isn’t to escape or run away, it’s just to find my people.
As I’m working on building my confidence, I would prefer a family who is patient and has experience with a timid dog. Because I’ve had some ruff experiences in my past, I’d prefer to have your undivided attention and to be the only dog.
Brownie's Medical Information
The FOHA Medical Team says I need to be neutered and have dental work before my adoption can be finalized. That doesn't mean I can't become a member of your family now. Once the adoption application process is complete, my adoption will be considered a "Foster with Intent to Adopt". That means I get to live with you and you will take me to one of FOHA’s approved partner veterinarians for my medical treatment. FOHA will financially cover the costs. Once my treatment is completed, we will be able to finalize my adoption and I will be forever yours.
