Meet Banana
Hello, I’m Banana! I was found outside with my brothers and was basically feral. Our foster family has worked hard to earn our trust, and we’ve come a long way. We’ve even spent some time in another foster (a vacation!) and proved just how much progress we’ve made. While I’m still a little shy and will take time to warm up to you, I promise that I’m work the investment. Amazingly, I’ve always been great at using the litter box.
I love exploring new places! Our foster family initially kept us in a tent so we couldn’t hide anywhere while we got used to them. I was the first one to venture outside it. If I’m in the right mood or you have food, I’ll let you pet me and reward you with rumbling purrs. I can be a bit of a purr machine – they are that loud! I love to run and play with toys and my brothers. I also love getting visits from our foster family’s cats. Sometimes they even play with me!
My foster family has dogs and they’re okay but I could do without them. I definitely need a feline playmate though. My brothers and I love to chase each other and wrestle. I also get the zoomies and enjoy running up and down and all over. Don’t have any cat toys handy, no worries since I can make a game out of anything! Sticks, slippers, you name it. I have a great time chasing wand toys, like those long fleece ones.
While I’m more social than I was when FOHA first rescued me, I need a family who understands that I’m learning to trust humans. I would not do well with small children and sudden movements (unless by a cat) often put me in flight or hide mode.. While I’m not cuddly now, if you’re willing to work with me, I might be your very best friend one day.
