Hi! Please read my profile closely because I am looking for a very special family and home.
I have been at FOHA for a few weeks now and enjoy my walks and the great care that I get. I need time to warm up to new people. I need to meet people a few times, but after gaining my trust, I will be your best friend!
I get easily scared by large coats, big hats, and quick movements. I need to be approached slowly and surely to gain trust. I seem to trust women more than men, but, in time, I am sure that can change.
There is still a lot for them to learn like how I am with other dogs, but kids move too fast for me…
But I would like to meet you! Please submit an application and we can set up a time to get to know each other.
I am looking for a home with no small children.
Bailey's Medical Information
The FOHA Medical Team says I may need dental work before my adoption can be finalized. I have a retained baby tooth that will need to be removed if it does not fall out on its own. That doesn't mean I can't become a member of your family now. Once the adoption application process is complete, my adoption will be considered a "Foster with Intent to Adopt". That means I get to live with you and you will take me to one of FOHA’s approved partner veterinarians for my medical treatment. FOHA will financially cover the costs. Once my treatment is completed, we will be able to finalize my adoption and I will be forever yours.
