Medical Manager – The Medical Manager is responsible for organizing and coordinating daily medical office and medical operations at Friends of Homeless Animals in Aldie, VA. Successful candidates will have medical experience and will be very comfortable working with dogs and cats. They will thrive in mid-paced animal rescue environments, have a high attention to detail and be able to manage multiple priorities. They will work well with assigned staff and volunteers who will assist with completing the data entry (test results, exam results, follow-up tasks, etc.) and tracking medical needs for over 100 animals in FOHA’s care. FOHA has technology solutions in place to help manage schedules and deliverables with daily and weekly task lists. Successful candidates will also be able to keep written standard operating procedures and protocols up to date.
Adoption and Foster Coordinator – The Adoption and Foster Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the adoption and foster programs, ensuring that both processes run smoothly, efficiently, and in alignment with the organization’s mission. This role involves managing volunteer teams, maintaining accurate records, promoting animals for adoption and fostering, and ensuring high-quality customer service for adopters and foster families.
Animal Caregiver Supervisor – Duties include assisting and caring for animals in custody; cleaning of shelter; staff supervision, maintaining staff schedule, and staff training. This position backs up the Operations Manager and serves in that role in their absence. Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with co-workers & volunteers and the ability to deal effectively with the public. Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends. This position is open until filled.
