Status: Up for Adoption

Breed: German Shepherd

Gender: Female

Weight: 83

Age: 8 years and 4 months

My name is Bella and everyone tells me I'm an exceptionally beautiful and intelligent girl. I had a pretty tough start in life, but my years at FOHA have helped me a lot. There are some special volunteers who have worked with me and helped me learn to trust again.

My hope is to one day find courage, confidence and trust that will last forever. Once in a while, my trust rises above my fear and that's when I'm the happiest. That's when I'm able to joyously chase tennis balls, romp and play, and walk beautifully by your side on leash.

If given the chance to live in a quiet home with experienced dog owners, I think I could finally fulfill my potential.  Do you have the love and patience I so desperately need in my life?

This dog can only be adopted within the Washington D.C. metro area.

If you are interested in adopting a FOHA dog, please review our Adoption Policies and complete a Dog Adoption Application.
