Status: Up for Adoption

Breed: Bloodhound

Gender: Female

Weight: 77

Age: 3 years and 9 months

So, are you looking for a big, outgoing, snuggly, playful, sweet and beautiful girl to become a part of your family?  Well, I’ll bet I’m your girl.  Everybody at FOHA has been so very nice to me and I’ve made loads of two legged and four legged friends in just a few short days.  For a big girl I think I do very nicely on leash and everyone tells me that I just make them smile.  They all seem to love giving me nice pets.

Dog Breed Info says this about my clan – “The Bloodhound is a kind, patient, noble, mild-mannered and lovable dog.  Gentle, affectionate and excellent with children, this is truly a good natured companion.”  They go on to say – “Very energetic outdoors and boisterous when young, determined and independent, Bloodhounds need firm, but not heavy handed training.”  I don’t know, I guess I could use a little work on my leash manners.  I would do best in a home with a 6 foot fence.

Sooo, if you’re an active family that is looking for a sweet, new family member with a bit of a goofy side I think I might fit right in.  Please stop out and see me real soon, Bessie.

This dog can only be adopted within the Washington D.C. metro area.
