Domestic short hair, female, kitten

Imagine living under a shed right as winter’s cold was starting to settle in here in Northern Virginia. That’s how I started out in life – rescued by the volunteers at Loudoun Community Cat Coalition, who literally had to take apart that shed in order to trap me and my frightened siblings. See, when you grow up outside, with no interaction with people, you don’t know what to expect when humans set up traps (even with yummy food in it) and try to coax you out of your hiding spot. I’m lucky that I went from living outside in the cold to snuggled up, nice and toasty warm, in a foster home. My foster mommy is teaching me all about being an indoor, domesticated kitty. I’ve learned that my foster mom doles out treats and pets, and I LOVE to be pet. I have a grand old time playing with all of the toys foster mommy has here, like Da bird, and the laser light, and the SmartyKat Hot Pursuit toy – but my sister Annie sometimes tries to hog all the toys for herself. Not fair! But foster mommy always makes sure I get special time of my own. Now I’m looking for a special family, too. Are you the family for me?
